Philly's Elite Wins 1st Maryland All-Stars Cup!
After 16 long years, Jordan finally reaches the summit.
Championship Recap
He’s done it! Philly’s Elite is your 2025/26 Maryland All-Stars Cup champion!
Congratulations, Jordan! After 16 long years, your commitment and perseverance has finally paid off. We can now say that every single active original 8 manager is a champion. Incredible!
Jordan put on a clinic from start to finish. Powered by a massive 70+ point week from Connor McDavid, a 60+ point week from Nick Schmaltz, and two 40+ point weeks from Leo Carlsson and Dylan Gunther, my Blitzkrieg never stood a chance.
“Let’s just say if I, Philly’s Elite, do win my first, and I do it in my first year living in Philly, there will be a collage of me holding the trophy in front of all the sites and I might become the most insufferable player in the league for the next year.” - Jordan
Philly’s Elite becomes the 9th different Maryland All-Stars Cup champion in league history. After heartbreaking losses in the 2010/11 and 2018/19 Cup Finals, Jordan finally cements himself amongst our league’s greats.
The Top 3
My Blitzkrieg end the season in 2nd place, bringing my record in Cup Finals to 2-2. This is my 6th top-3 finish in 16 seasons.
Lexie’s Legit was cruising to a 3rd place finish, but the Swiss Machine would not go quiet into that goodnight. After picking up Ryan McLeod, Ivan Barbashev, and Quinton Byfield, he stormed back late Sunday night to win by a shocking 0.2 points. That is officially the closest playoff matchup of all time. This is the Snow Cones 8th top-3 finish with 7 of those being 3rd place.

Commish Notes
That is a wrap on the 16th season of Maryland All-Stars fantasy hockey. I hope each and every one of you had as much fun as I did. This was by far one of the most competitive seasons in league history.
I find the longevity of this league to be very special. What was once a collection of hockey fans living in Maryland has become a slightly older and wiser collection of hockey fans living all across the country. I am very grateful that we still come together every season to make more memories with each other. Here’s to another 16!
