2025 Rules and Scoring
The official rulebook and scoring system for the 2025 Maryland All-Stars fantasy hockey league season.
We are proud to announce the 2025 Maryland All-Stars rules and scoring system!
The league continues to operate in the Head-to-Head format. Scoring categories and point values will remain the same.
After the positive feedback from last year’s rule changes, this season will follow the same format. We successfully toned down the power of goaltenders and each roster will continue to have 1 starting goaltender spot. You can still draft a backup, but it will take up one of your 4 bench positions. This prioritizes scoring and makes the pool of free agents more robust. As a result, the weekly starting requirement for goaltenders will remain at 2.
All other roster positions will be the same, with the popular IR+ category returning for the fifth season in a row.

Welcome to the 16th season of the Maryland All-Stars fantasy hockey league! I hope everyone had a great summer and is ready for the greatest sport in the world to return in just a few weeks.
